This piano can be played silently through headphones, but of course is also a fully functional normal acoustic piano. Another benefit of the silent system is it adds midi input/ output functionality so you can connect the piano to any music production software for recording and notation usage

This piano also has the Disklavier functionality which plays itself with real moving keys. This can be controlled either through the use of discs, wirelessly from Bluetooth using the pianostream app, and also via the midi input allowing the piano to be controlled and played back from music production software. The Disklavier system sits under the keys and has no impact at all on the action or feel of the piano when not in use
